As a Geotechnical Engineering and Construction materials testing firm, RAM Engineering consult is specialised in the application of Geotechnical principal to achieve quality, safe, economical, and practical projects. We are experienced in investigation, evaluation of construction materials to overcome challenges that small and complex projects face.

We conduct tests on construction materials in accordance with Rwanda and international standards. Meeting customers’ expectations is at the center of our business. We foster personal relationships with our client and cultivate among RAM staff a culture of continuous learning and sharing of knowledge.

Mr. Aimable has a Bachelor degree with distinction of National University of Rwanda (NUR) and a Master degree by research in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering obtained at Stellenbosch University-South Africa.

From supervising construction works of a Precast Factory, apartment buildings, managing a Soil Mechanics and Concrete Laboratory for 3 years, undertaking several structural assessments, pavement materials consultancy, Mr. Aimable has developed proven expertise to successfully carry out complex civil engineering projects. Mr. Aimable has gained as well a deep scientific knowledge in the area of highways, Foundation, Retaining wall, Destructive and unrestrictive construction materials tests, Geotechnical Investigation.

In additional to that, he has attended different continuous professional development training (CPD) such as ACI concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade , RS ISO17025:2005 general requirements for competence of testing and calibration laboratories and an awareness on ISO19011:2011 Guidelines for auditing Management system (Rwanda Standard Board), Laboratory and Field technique (University of Cape Town).

Mr. Aimable UWIMANA is an associate member of South Africa Institution of Civil Engineer (SAICE) and a corporate member of Institution of Engineer Rwanda (IER).
